About
the Director
Loretta Tanenbaum hails from New Jersey, but has been in Canada for 27 years. She has studied in a number of places, including Israel, and the Hebrew Union College in Cincinnati. Her degree is from Edgecliff College, philosophy. Jewish education has been Loretta's passion the whole of her adult life, and she has either taught or administerd classes in a wide variety of settings. She has held the position of Melton Director in Toronto from its inception in that city in 2000 and has been the Executive Director of the Canadian Council of Conservative Synagogues for the last year and a half.
