About
the Director
A native Kansas Citian and graduate of the Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy, Jeff holds a bachelor’s degree in Judaic languages and literature from Emory University in Atlanta. His appointment to the position of Director of Adult Jewish Learning at the Jewish Community Center of Kansas City marks a drastic change in Jeff’s career focus. Formerly the owner of an appliance repair company, he has found that his real passion is for Jewish learning and strengthening of the Jewish community.
Jeff is a member of congregations Beth Shalom and Kehilath Israel, both in Overland Park, KS and is actively involved in congregational life as a b’nai mitzvah trainer, Torah reader, and gabbai. He and his wife, Missy, have three daughters.
