Reflections
at Dallas Graduation

Hello.
My name is Ben Crane. My mom is Rachelle Weiss Crane. I am
proud of my mom because she's spending time to learn Torah.
I think her Melton classes have increased her knowledge of
Judaic Studies and Judaism. She has been able to answer my
questions about the differences between orthodox, conservative,
and reform Judaism. My mom is usually able to help me with
my Jewish Studies homework from Solomon Schechter Academy.
My mom says that the Melton course is the reason.
I find myself learning more about Jewish Studies and Hebrew
than many of my friends at Solomon Schechter because my mom
tells me new things and she's a great mom.
My
mom made some new friends in her Melton class and I did too.
We enjoyed some very fun Shabbat dinners with the Schultz-Romaner
family.
My mom was setting a good example for me when she decided
to take the Melton class. She said she did it because she
wanted to better understand our history and what I might be
learning at Schechter.
I am glad that my mom took this course because she learned
a lot. I am proud of my mom.
