Seminar:
A Warm Welcome to our Ninety Participants
Ninety
participants began their Israel Seminar with a recital of
Shehecheyanu while standing on Mt. Scopus overlooking the
city of Jerusalem. The festive opening dinner was held at
the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Dr. Michael Gillis,
brought greetings from the Melton Centre for Jewish Education,
and started the seminar off in true Mini-School style, with
some text study.
We warmly welcome our graduates from Denver,CO; Indianapolis,IN;
Philadelphia,PA; Rockland County,NY; St. Louis,MO; Washington
DC, Miami,FL; London, England; Sydney, Australia and the
largest ever contingent from one site; 37 graduates from Kansas
City under the leadership of Rabbi Amy Wallk Katz,
a group from Chicago,IL led by Judy Kupchan
and a group from Springfield, MA led by Rabbi Jonathan
Perlman.
