Mini-School directors from the US, Canada, UK and Australia will convene at the Mt. Scopus Campus of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem for the Ninth International Directors Conference of the Florence Melton Adult Mini-School. We are thrilled that this year we will be joined by members of our Advisory Boards who will participate in a new parallel lay track specifically designed for local board members who are so essential to the smooth running of our mini-schools.

For one week, participants will have the opportunity to study with world famous scholars of Jewish Adult Education and to learn from leading Israeli personalities. The Conference will provide an exciting balance of inspiring and informative sessions and on-site educational activities. In addition participants will return home with a deeper understanding of the current situation in Israel.

The annual Directors Conference offers our directors, lay members and staff the opportunity to acquire new tools, share ideas and gain new insights of this important project of the Hebrew University in Jewish communities around the world. No doubt this conference, like those before, will have a tremendous impact upon the future of the mini-school network.
