NEW MINI-SCHOOL YEAR BEGINS IN NORTHERN HEMISPHERE

September and October will see the opening of the new Mini-School year in the United States, Canada and the UK. With over 5,000 students registered for the coming year, we are proud of the ever increasing numbers which are testimony to the success of the Mini-Schools in Jewish communities around the world. This year schools in Stamford CT, Long Island NY and Winnipeg, Canada open their doors for the first time to this exciting program.

5765 also sees the opening of the Mini-School in Israel. With the support of the Avi Chai Foundation and our Board members Irv and Carol Smokler, a Hebrew curriculum will be offered in six communities across the country. The Mini-School continues to reach out in new and exciting directions and hopefully this year other communities will make a commitment to adult Jewish learning.

A warm welcome to our new directors, faculty and of course to our new students who are about to embark on a journey of Jewish learning that they will no doubt find intellectually stimulating and meaningful.
