| JoHanna Potts is the chief operating officer of the Partnership for Jewish Life and Learning. She has been teaching adults for more than twenty-five years in a range of settings. She has a strong commitment to Jewish pluralism and broadening individuals understanding of Judaism. Her current teaching includes the various courses in the Florence Melton Adult Mini-School, Torah study Shabbat mornings at Temple Shalom, Women’s Torah study groups and professional development workshops for faculty. |

| Aliza Sperling is an associate education officer in the Adult Education Program Area at the Partnership for Jewish Life and Learning where she serves as the director of the agency’s Florence Melton Adult Mini-School. She is also the director of the Women’s Beit Midrash and Makom: Finding a Place for our Growing Girls at Ohev Sholom Congregation in Washington, DC. Prior to joining the Partnership, Aliza taught Talmud and Tanakh at the Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School and worked as an attorney at a private law firm and a public interest organization. |

| Avi West is the director of the Shulamith Reich Elster Resource Center of the Partnership for Jewish Life and Learning. Working closely with educators in all types of settings, Avi works to bring excellence in Judaic content and pedagogy to local programs. He is also a long-time faculty member of the Florence Melton Adult Mini-School through the Partnership for Jewish Life and Learning. |

| Rabbi Hirsh Chinn is the educational director of ZEHAYOM – The National Jewish Addiction Recovery Network. He has been an advocate for Jews suffering from addiction, for almost 30 years. As a Wexner Fellow, he attended Ohio State University and received his MSW, focusing on addiction. He has been a community educator in the Washington area for the past 12 years while directing a campus Jewish studies fellowship for the AVI CHAI Foundation. Hirsh received his ordination from Mesivta Torah Vodaath and recently founded Congregation Minchas Yitzchok, blending Hassidic and recovery traditions. |

| Rabbi Gary Fink is rabbi emeritus of Oseh Shalom Congregation. He has a pastoral counseling practice that specializes in bereavement, loss and life-limiting illness, and he serves as chaplain for Montgomery Hospice. Rabbi Fink teaches part-time in the Thanatology Graduate Program at Hood College. Recently, the Hospice Foundation of America selected Rabbi Fink as panelist and lecturer for its nationally broadcast education series on "Spirituality and End-of-Life Care," and he authored a chapter on "Legacy and Spirituality" in the accompanying textbook. Rabbi Fink regularly lectures on a wide array of subjects including Jewish spirituality, family issues, end-of-life decision-making, coping with loss, and medical ethics. He has conducted classes in the Florence Melton Adult Mini-School since 2002. |
