About
the Director
Rosa Mandelblum was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela
where she was a madriha in Hebraica. She has lived
in Sarasota, with her husband and four children, since 1997.
As a lay leader, she has been very involved in the Jewish
community, especially with the Goldie Feldman Academy and
Justin Lee Weisner Early Childhood Learning Center of Temple
Beth Sholom. She holds a B.A. in International Relations and
a B.S in Hotel, Tourism and Restaurant Management from Syracuse
University, and a Masters in Hotel Management from the University
of Massachusetts. In October 2004, Rosa was hired by the Sarasota-Manatee
Jewish Federation part-time as a Development Associate; now,
as a full-time employee, she is looking forward to the challenge
of building exciting opportunities for Adult Jewish Learning
in the Sarasota-Manatee community.
