About the Director
Sarah Liebman is the Executive Director of Morasha Community Alliance for Jewish Education and Director of Portland's Florence Melton Adult Mini-School. She holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Portland State University and a Bachelor of Arts in History with Honors from Grinnell College in Iowa. She is also an alumna of Portland Jewish Academy and of Portland's Florence Melton Adult Mini-School. One of three Americans to win the 2008 Charlie Award, an award recognizing Birthright alumni for outstanding post-Birthright service to their local Jewish communities, she is also the founding director of Machar and Urban Jews PDX, organizations serving Jewish young adults in Portland.
