About
the Director
Elaine Hirsch has served as coordinator of the Bureau
of Jewish Education's Resource Center since 1988. She is responsible
for coordinating the Mini-School, as well as the community
Jewish Resource Center and Library and Media Center. Elaine
is the local director of admissions for the Alexander Muss
High School in Israel, and coordinator of an annual statewide
Educators' Conference on the Holocaust for public and private
high school social studies and English teachers. She is also
responsible for the annual development of a hands-on Jewish
Children's Activity Museum for day and religious school students.
Elaine is a graduate of Brandeis University, and holds a Masters
in Jewish Communal Service.
