Mallory Probert is Director of Long Island's Florence Melton Adult Mini-School and J Learn, UJA-Federation of New York's Long Island Adult Learning Initiative.  Ms. Probert has worked at J Learn since its inception, nurturing the program from its initial stages. In the four years of her involvement, J Learn has become a Long Island institution, offering broadly placed adult Jewish learning opportunities throughout the Island. The Florence Melton Adult Mini School and its Scholars curricula feature prominently in J Learn’s offerings. Ms. Probert holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration and received a fellowship from the William Davidson School of Jewish Education at the Jewish Theological Seminary, where she earned her MA in Jewish Education.

Beverly Wachtel began working as the Assistant Director of J Learn and Long Island’s Melton School in May of 2007, after serving for 17 years as a lay leader in the Jewish Community. She serves her synagogue as a Trustee on the Board of Directors and serves on the Sisterhood Executive Board and the Board of Ed. Beverly earned a BA in Psychology from Lafayette College and a Paralegal Certificate from Adelphi University.  She is also a graduate of WLCJ Leadership Institute and of the Florence Melton Adult Mini-School.  Beverly’s contribution to J Learn is enhanced by her experience and background as a former J Learn student. Beverly focuses on student recruitment and retention, as well as planning future programming.  

Suzanne Bruey began her J Learn career in 2005. She is the associate director and a student in the Florence Melton Adult Mini School. Suzanne facilitates daily office procedures and student contacts. Her responsibilities include all facets of administrative record keeping and financial operations. Prior to joining J Learn, Suzanne worked for over a decade in Plainview, Long Island. She sustains J Learn's success as its administrative back bone.
