About the Director
Keith M. Kanter was born and raised in Chicago. Having earned his Juris Doctor from DePaul University’s College of Law (1977) and his B.A cum laude from Loyola University (1974,) Keith is a licensed and experienced attorney. In addition to his legal profession, Jewish Education is at the heart of Keith’s work. He holds an Associate of Hebrew Literature Degree cum laude from the Hebrew Theological College (1974) and has been actively engaged in Jewish Education for over 25 years. One of the keys to Keith’s great success as a teacher is best understood from his own words, "I hope that what I have learned to date is a small fraction of what I am going to learn in the future." Keith is the Director of two Florence Melton Adult Mini-School programs – the Limud North Consortium and the Lakeview Consortium of the Community Foundation for Jewish Education of Metropolitan Chicago.
