About
the Director
Ruth Spivak was born in Israel to Argentine parents, and grew up in Calgary, Alberta. She graduated from McGill University with a B.A. in Jewish Studies and a teaching diploma from the McGill Jewish Teacher Training Program. She taught at Bialik High School in Montreal and at the Calgary Jewish Academy before taking time off to stay home and raise her three children.
The Melton school will be new to Calgary this year, (2007-8) and Ruth is very excited about directing this initiative in the Jewish community.
